THERE was success last week for both Madeira teams in the Bowls Devon Interclub competition, writes Mary Ann Dowrick.
Both the A and B team made progress through into the Third Round.
The A team that was successful against Bideford saw skip Eileen Bagley with Jill Perrin, Jenny Smith and Sandy Cox won 30-6 whilst Catherine King skipped May Dyson, Jean Rainton, Brenda Marks to a 23-10 victory.
The B team that overcame Ottery saw skip Liz Smerdon with Jan Roberts, Pat Harris and Jacky Howle claim a hefty 37-10 victory whilst Sue Harriott skipped Christine Macaulay, Angela Denner and Annette Flockhart to a 27-17 success.
