The Madeira indoor captains' Margaret Humphrey and David Hitt, had, as their charity, CRUSE Bereavement Care and, at the end of the indoor season, they were pleased to send a cheque in the sum of £594.44 to the Devon branch of this charity.

The money was raised in a variety of ways throughout the winter culminating in the last fundraiser, a joint venture arranged by the men's indoor captain David, and the men's outdoor captain Danny Doran, in conjunction with Quizmaster Dave Moody.

It was a relaxed fun evening enjoyed by over 60 Club Members, family and friends.

Quizmaster Dave challenged everyone with a range of questions, (including some decidedly quirky ones!) and a delicious supper was prepared by Cathy Munro.

A splendid total of £485 was raised with the money being split equally between CRUSE and the Outdoor Captain's charity SCOPE Exmouth.

Thanks to the Beach Public House for their generous sponsorship and the Raffle prizes donated by the Ocean and other local businesses.
