Eventually, Madeira sealed a 122-98 (24+) victory.

Three home rinks all enjoyed ten shot wins and they were, Jenny Turner, Jill Honnor, Tony Wiseman and skip Francis Newton. Madeline Marriott, John Daly, Jean Phillips and skip Charles Drake and the third team to do so was that of Deidre Aldridge, Dorothy Lowe, Keith Ewins and skip George Perrin.
