Josh John-Ringe of St Peter’s Prep School, Lympstone, has posted a series of results in National and World competitions this year that has led to him being selected for the National Training Squad.

RS Tera sailor Josh, who finished 1st in the IAPS Nationals earlier in the year with classmate William James, has surpassed expectations by finishing second in the Nationals at Cardiff, third in the Nationals at Northampton, and bagged a fourth place finish in his fleet at Weymouth in the RS Tera Worlds, where nearly 200 RS Teras fought out the world series in winds of up to 25 knotts.

Josh, who sails and trains at Exe Sailing Club is also a member of the South West Youth Sailing Academy who provide youth training throughout the Southwest. Josh is looking forward to a busy year on the water.
