Students from Lympstone Karate have enjoyed recent training sessions and gradings at Exeter Shotokan and Tiverton Shotokan karate clubs.
Students took part in a gruelling two-hour training lesson with chief instructor of the KUGB(karate union of great Britain) Andy Sherry Sensei 9th Dan.
This was followed closely a kyu grade (coloured belt) grading. At this event, students were put though khion (punches, kicks and blocks), kata (a sequence of moves) and kumite (fighting) in a tough grading. Each student showed incredible high standards and each student was successful.
