Liberty Brown is a young lady who continues to win trophies in big tennis tournaments.

BUDLEIGH Salterton’s Liberty Brown recently added another superb trophy to her growing collection.

At just 16-years of age, young Liberty is making a habit of lifting silverware and her latest success came in the under-18s Ivybridge Open, Half Term Grade 3 tennis tournament.

As the top seed Liberty had to fight off stiff opposition throughout the week long event.

She beat Imogen Harry, Cornwall 6-2, 6-1 to set up a semi-final draw against Mia Loye.

Liberty, who has recently been accepted onto the LTA’s Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence Programme, then beat Number two seed Sarah Collinge, Devon 6 - 0, 4 - 6 , 10 - 6 (match tie-break) in the final.
