Exmouth Rugby Club was the venue for the Devon’s Strongest Man’ competition.

The meeting was officiated by Terry Holland, who has competed in the World’s Strongest Man competition a dozen times, representing the UK.

The event proved to be a big success and a terrific sum of £250 was raised for the Bramble Ward charity.

It was a very tough competition during which competitors pushed themselves to the limit during a series of ‘strong man’ events.

The final round featured the famous Atlas Stones which weighed from 65kg up to 120kg!

At the end of the day the top prize, and title of Devon’s Strongest Man, went to Torquay’s Josh Watson.

Second place went to Rory Brown, who travelled to Exmouth from Wales to take part and third was another Torquay entrant, Allen Davis.
