CS Dynamo rider Jamie Fabrizio won the Bristol South Road Race held near Chedder last weekend, writes Andy Waite.

The race is 55-miles long and cycled over eight laps of a circuit with the course including plenty of hills!

Fabrizio attacked at the top of the King of the Mountains climb on the fifth lap and managed to get a gap with Simon Coles. They worked well together and soon the gap went from 40 seconds to over two minutes on the bunch!

Fabrizio was clearly in good shape and, with 3km to race, attacked again and swiftly opened up a healthy lead and went on to beat Coles to the line by over 30 seconds!

Lots of hard training and some impressive early season results have led to an excellent result from Fabrizio and there is surly more to come during the rest of the season.

Also last weekend, the Dynamo youth and junior riders were putting in some impressive rides at Ilton where Charlie McFadzean finished in fifth place.
