Just 36 hours after putting on their “glad rags” for the Harriers Awards Presentation evening fifteen runners donned their “racing gear” to compete in the Devon Cross Country Championships in Exeter on Sunday 5th December.
The 5km & 8.9km races were held over an extremely muddy course around the Exhibition Fields beside Exeter Arena within the Westward League Cross Country fixture.
Nine Harriers Men competed in the 8,900m event - Rob Ellis, Sam Kelly, Hugh Marsden, Jimmy Joy, Oli White, Anthony Lees Craig Butler, Nathan Sheehy & Andy Place
Exmouth Harriers 2021 Awards Evening was held at the GWRSA in Exmouth on Friday 3rd December. Harriers Chairman Nigel Dupain presented the awards to the athletes.
The winners: Female Athlete - Hannah Bown; Male Athlete - Sam Kelly; Female Veteran Athlete - Alison White; Male Veteran Athlete - Des White; New Harrier Athlete - Oli White; Chairman’s Harrier of 2021 - Mike Musgrove.
