Exmouth Harrier Amanda McCann raced in the Chichester Harbour 15km Trail Run, finishing in 1.23:57, the 19th female to finish and 102nd overall out of 394 finishers.

It was a flat multi-terrain event that included navigating some tough varied surfaces of pebbles, sand, narrow paths and wooden walkways. The route was around Thorney Island and the surrounding harbour side paths with some stunning views.

Exmouth Harriers hosted the popular Bicton Blister on Sunday for the first time in two years, a superb event set on Woodbury Common; starting and finishing at the Bicton College in East Budleigh.

It uses a short section of road before taking in the sandy, stony and muddy paths across the pebbled heaths of Bicton & Woodbury common, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

It’s a challenging course with the full Blister covering approximately 10.5 miles and a less challenging Blister Lite of approximately 4.5 miles.
