Woodbury Park provided a magnificent course for the playing of the 2010 Dartmoor Trophy.

WOODBURY Park played host to the Dartmoor Trophy last week, writes Jock Todd.

The winner was Jason Hampton from Stover GC who carded rounds of 75 and 68 to finish with a score of 143.

There were 62 players who contested the competition, played over 36 holes.

Hampton finished four under-par to seal the trophy.

The President of Devon County Golf Union, Geoff Rogers, presented the trophy to Hampton and also made a point of thanking Woodbury Park for staging the event on such a magnificent and indeed, well prepared, course.

Mr Rogers also thanked Graham Ruth from the tournaments main sponsors, Brittany Ferries for all their support.
