The Joma Devon & Exeter Football League reached the halfway stage with Lapford and Throverton sitting joint-top of the Premier Division.

Beer Albion are just five points behind in third before a hefty gap down to Kentisbeare and Elmore 2nds. It has been a tough start for Ottery St Mary 2nds, recording just one point so far, with Sidmouth Town 2nds and Dawlish United also battling in the bottom three.

Crediton United 2nds are the side sitting pretty at the top of Division One, nine points clear of Alphington 2nds, while Halwill are languishing at the bottom. East Budleigh, currently in mid-table, could be a side to watch, as they have six games in hand on the leaders.

Division Two is beginning to look like a shoot-out between Beer Albion 2nds and Winkleigh for the title, with the picture equally tight in the relegation spots, where just one point separates Clyst Valley 2nds, Dunkeswell Rovers and Chagford.

Devon Yeoman have a six-point cushion in Division Three, with Central, Westexe Park Rangers and St Martins leading the chasing pack. Exeter United have six points to make up on Honiton Town 2nds down the bottom.

Farway United and Cranbrook are way out in front in Division Four, with Cranbrook still unbeaten, while Colyton 2nds will be hoping to chase down Sidmouth Town 3rds and East Budleigh 2nds in the scrap for survival.

In Division Five, Elmore 3rds have a slender three-point lead over AFC Exe and Cheriton Fitzpaine. Upottery 2nds and Awliscombe have a lot of work ahead to catch up with the mid-table pack.

St Thomas Social Club boast a brilliant 100% record in Division Six and sit two points behind leaders Okehampton Argyle 3rds with five games in hand. Sadly for Seaton Town 2nds, they enter 2022 still seeking their first points.

Starcross Dons also have an immaculate record at the top of Division Seven, with Priorty at the bottom, while Whipton & Pinhoe, Cranbrook United 2nds and The Heart of Oak are dominating Division Eight.

City Raiders AFC 2nds have a supreme 13-point lead in Division Nine but it still all to play for across the local scene.
