Exmouth Harrier Berihu Hadera stormed to victory in Sunday's Templer Ten (10 mile) off-road race, organised by Teignbridge Trotters at Stover School near Bovey and completed by almost 250 runners, writes Dave Eveleigh.

Berihu was over a minute clear of runner-up, Ceri Rees. Becky Fagg, relatively new to the running game, was 16th overall in 68:06, but first woman. Jon Garrity was in between the two winners in 14th with a time of 67:10, but missed out on an age category award on this occasion.

Ben White finished 50th in 75:10 and partner Emma was 62nd in 78:04. Rosie Stamp was 101st in 85:04 with Dawn Teed not far behind in 111th and a time of 86:55.

Some good solid performance from the four women meant they came away with the female team prize.
