Terror Pins completed the first quarter of their league season with a home victory against Rogue Eagles at the Feathers Inn last Friday, writes SpursTom.

Team captain Chris Gatter was back at the helm on the night when himself and four other members achieved spares, with the third leg being the most productive for a reasonable lead, which was extended further in the fourth.

The men from Aylesbeare came back strongly to capture the fifth and sixth to lower the deficit.

Having wobbled in leg two the home team did it again in the sixth leg, but then pulled themselves together to capture the final two legs to finish 23 pins ahead.

Chris Gatter, Tony Gooding and Mervyn Handford were the top scorers for Terro Pins who have now claimed four wins in their five matches to date this season.
