Exe Sailing Club members Fred Mainwaring and Ffion Morgan were victorious in the silver fleet when the RS200 South West ‘Ugly Tour’, sponsored by West Country Boat Repairs, visited Exe Sailing Club.
As usual at Exe, visiting sailors were greeted by sun, sea, a very welcoming home club.
Four races were sailed in what was a four-to-eight knot easterly breeze under the direction of race officer Mike Way.
The gold fleet was won by Alistair Norris and Helen Summersgill (Bristol Corinthian YC).
The minor places went to Roger and Lucy Philips (Burghfield YC), who were second, and third were Ed Whitehead and Naomi Pound (Parkstone YC).
