Fowler crowned East Devon’s Club Champion

THE Championship Supper, held at the East Devon Golf Club, was very well attended.

On the evening, one much enjoyed by all, prizes were handed out by the Lady Captain, Dot Gill, to Sue Fowler, Club Champion and Nina Hawkins, Vets Champion as well as many others.

The best gross and the 2011 Club Champion top honour went to Sue Fowler with Alison Corney in second place whilst the best net total was also landed by Sue Fowler although this was a tight affair as she won after count back, edging out Maureen Howard.

Nina Hawkins was presented with the EDGG Veterans title which she won with Hilary Greenaway finishing second.

In the veterans Champions the best net total went to Pippa Norman with Lorraine Caldwell in second place.

The Dolphin Trophy which is a restricted ladies event, was presented to Margaret Menhenitt and the palmer Cup was awarded to Sarah White.

The Christine Bagnall Salvers went to the pairing of Rosemary Pratt and Sue Burley and another trophy presented was the Lloyd Williams Salver which went to Sally Underwood.
