Brixington Blues 5, City Raiders 2

Brixington Blues Under-12s were good value for their win over the Exeter-based visitors.

Jake Yarwood struck a brace as Blues inflicted more woe on third bottom Raiders. Harrison Clutton, Theo Burne and Ollie Holmes scored the other Blues’ goals.

The star man for the Blues was Ben Bolwell who was superb suiting just in front of the back line.

The win lifts Blues up to fourth in the top division.

This weekend they travel to fourth bottom Twyford Spartans and a win in Tiverton coupled with favourable results elsewhere and Blues could sit in a top two berth by lunchtime on Saturday.
