RICHARD HILL was named amongst the substitutes for Woodbury on Saturday afternoon and did not get out onto the pitch until the start of the second half but 45 minutes later he had helped himself to four goals and the side to an eight goal mauling of Topsham Town Reserves.Skipper Dave Allen had given the side a single goal lead at the half way stage and in the second half he added two more to complete a hat-trick whilst debutant Antony Evans also got on the score sheet but the star of this eight goal showing was undoubtedly Hill who took all four of his goals very well as the villagers registered an 8-0 win.Woodbury's John Bennett said: "We were not sure if he (Hill) would be available for the game and named him as sub but his performance up top after the break was exceptional. He led the line very well and, of course, netted the four goals. Not bad for a regular midfielder who also plays in defence!"It's St Martin's at home on Saturday when two of the side's younger players, Michael Cope and Ollie Bishop, who both missed the Tops mauling, return.
