Woodbury to try again in Cup this weekend.

The successful season that they are having at Woodbury was hit by the weather again on Saturday.

THERE was disappointment for Woodbury on Saturday when their Devon Intermediate Cup tie was hit by the weather.

The Woods will now try again this coming Saturday to complete the tie with Sampford Peverell with the winners set to take on Exmouth Town.

The cancellation of the Cup tie and the subsequent rearrangement does present something of a fixture headache for the ambitious villagers who are currently sitting top of the Devon and Exeter League Division Five table having played just nine of what will eventually be a 28 League game campaign.

Division Five is a closely contested section this season with just four points separating the side sitting tenth, Alphington, from the Woods.
