WOODBURY have endured something of an inconsistent season in the Devon and Exeter League Division Five campaign.

The villagers have played ten so far, winning three, drawing two and losing five but, after an indifferent start to the campaign, are actually unbeaten in two months!

The last time that Woodbury were beaten was a Halloween 3-0 defeat at Hemyock, what's more they are unbeaten at home since the very first game of the season when Exmouth Amateurs won at Woodbury on September 5th!

After the Ammies defeat the villagers were beaten 3-1 at Broadclyst before they claimed a first win of the season with a September 21 2-1 win at home to Feniton 3rds.

October proved to be a bad month with three defeats in their four games as a 5-6 defeat at Colaton Raleigh was followed by a 7-1 hiding at Wellington Thirds. They then thumped Cullompton Rangers 5-0, but the month ended with a 3-0 defeat Hemyock.

Since Halloween they are unbeaten in three with an early November 4-2 win at Acland Park against Feniton 3rds followed by a 2-2 draw with hosts Dunkeswell and their last outing was a December 12 3-3 draw at Lords XI.
