Archant

HERE we take our regular look at who is playing who across the local football clubs that play in the Devon and Exeter League, on the first Saturday matchday of the New Year this coming weekend (January 8).

There’s a local derby at Greenway Lane, Budleigh where Exmouth Amateurs are the visitors for a Premier Division game. There’s also top flight action at Coronation Field, Topsham where Town entertain St Martins.

In Division One East Budleigh will look to bounce back from their Monday afternoon defeat when they travel the short distance to Sidbury and in Division Three there’s action to be seen at Warrenview where Exmouth Amateurs hosts Winkleigh and, in the same section, Topsham Town Reserves travel into Exeter to meet Countess Wear Dynamos whilst in Division Four, Colaton Raleigh host Hemyock.

The big game away from the league programme is at Woodbury where they take on fellow Division Six side Sampford Peverell in the East Area semi-final of the Devon Intermediate Cup with the winners set then to face all conquering Exmouth Town Reserves.
