Woodbury powered to a 6-1 win at Pinhoe to continue their bid for honours in Fresha League Division Three.

Paul Rowsell fired the Woods into an early lead and soon after he repeated the process in near identical fashion to make it 2-0. Sam Schlaefli headed a third to leave Woodbury in cruise control at the break.

Early in the second half, and again playing with high tempo, Woodbury went further ahead when Rich Higham linked up well with new signing Craig Higham before applying a polished finish to a superb team goal.

Dann Tapp came off the bench on the hour and made an immediate impact with a tidy finish. The Pins struck next with a consolation, but Woodbury had the final word with a fine header from Schlaefli to complete the scoring.
