In the early exchanges Ross James saw a shot well saved but Town went ahead in the 5th minute when a Charlie Williams corner was prodded home by Alex Partridge.

James and Ian Little both saw efforts saved before, on the half hour, Williams raced clear and scored with a shot from the edge of the area.

Williams netted his second in the closing stages of the first half.

Two minutes after the restart substitute Barnaby Pender scored via the crossbar and then, in a rare moment of danger at their end, Town keeper Ryan Neville made a smart save.

James then netted his second and the side's fifth before Honiton staged something of a fight back and netted a quick fire double.

Williams was soon back on the score sheet as he completed a hattrick and James netted his second before Honiton hit a third prior to Williams completing the scoring with his fourth in stoppage time.
