Exmouth Town Reserves went down 5-2 on their visit to Witheridge for a Macron League Premier Division game.

Witheridge struck first, but a terrific strike from Matty Cousins levelled things up.

Parity did not last long as Witheridge regained the lead and they went on to score three more as they bagged a comfortable victory.

Town did net a second, this a superb 20-yard strike from Ewan Anderson, but the home side deserved the three points.

On Saturday (February 24), Town’s second team are again in Macron League top flight action when they make the short trip across to Acland Park for an East Devon derby meeting with Feniton (3pm).
