Archant

Exmouth Town Reserves - The latest from Southern Road on the Town second team bid for league and Cup glory.

THERE was more Devon Intermediate Cup frustration for Exmouth Town Reserves on Saturday when, for the third week running their Area semi-final was hit by the weather.

With Perry Street league Farway again unable to stage the game the match now switches to Exmouth and, at the time of going to press the Club were considering when best to slot the tie in, be it a midweek, floodlit meeting or indeed this coming Saturday at Southern Road.

Waiting the eventual winners of the Town and Farway clash are Woodbury in the East Area Final and with the County semi-final draw being made earlier this week the sides all know just who they have to overcome if they are to take a place in the 2011 Devon Intermediate Cup Final.

Monday’s draw paired Chulmleigh against Meadowbrook Athletic of Foxhole United in one of the semi-finals whilst Exmouth Town, Farway or Woodbury, will face the winners of the Lamerton versus Vospers oak Villa meeting in the other last four game.
