Topsham Town managed to stage one of the few games to beat the weather on the final Saturday before Christmas.

Goals from Marc Carstairs, Danny Pym, Matt Anderson and Ace High saw the Tops to a 4-2 win over Morchard Bishop.

The victory for Lee Annunziatta’s side, coupled with a surprise defeat for leaders Seaton Town, beaten 2-0 at Beer Albion, means that the Coronation Field outfit head into Christmas sitting third in the table some seven points behind Seaton who have played a game more.

There’s plenty of the season to play with the Tops still two game shy of completing half their campaign and they next play on December 31 at home to Beer Albion.
