Tops set for Otters meet

TOPSHAM TOWN are going back to Stantaway Playing Fields, Otterton, on Saturday afternoon to seek a place in the next round of the East Devon Senior Cup

TOPSHAM TOWN are going back to Stantaway Playing Fields, Otterton, on Saturday afternoon to seek a place in the next round of the East Devon Senior Cup, this after the Otters finally played their outstanding last round tie against Upottery, who they beat 5-2 on Sunday afternoon.

Last time the Tops played at Otterton they were thumped 8-2 by the top flight new boys, this a Premier division game played in early September.

Since that mauling the Tops have improved dramatically and have beaten Wellington, lost narrowly to University and taken four of the six points on offer in back to back meetings with Budleigh Salterton.

Saturday's game at Stantaway kicks off at 2pm.
