Otterton 4, Uplowman Athletic 2: Sunday League Division Two Jon Pring followed up last week's hat-trick with another, this time against a battling Uplowman side.

Pring opened the scoring when he latched on to a Matty Tett free-kick after only five minutes.

A mistake seven minutes later let the visitors equalise.

Otterton looked the more dangerous side throughout the half as Tom Bishop, Tom Matthew and Jon Dack wasted chances to increase the lead.

Dink Thomas made some important saves in the Otters' goal.

Otterton pushed forward and five minutes before the break Pring headed home his second after a pinpoint cross from Mark Tett.

Uplowman still battled and went in at the break level after scoring with two minutes left.

The in-form Pring completed his hat-trick 10 minutes into the second half before going off injured.

Top scorer Bishop made the game safe with 15 minutes remaining to make it 4-2.

Otterton play their tenth consecutive home match on Sunday against Ship Crediton.
