Exmouth United Under-14s were convincing winners in a well-contested Exmouth derby.

Matt Seager led the scoring honours with a hat-trick and there were single goals from Harry Ottaway, Tom Adey and Callum Cross.

Ieuan Kidd was the star of the show apart from the goal scorers for what was a tremendous shift at left back for United.

Ed Hurley kept a first half clean sheet as United led 4-0 by the break. Blues scored a late consolation. United coach Steve Paver said: “It was a wonderful game played in tremendous spirit by both sets of players. It’s always hard in such games with the boys all knowing each other, but I thought it was a cracking advert for local youth football.”
