THE Royal Marines AFC have been given a tough task in the opening round of the 2011/12 Devon St Lukes Bowl competition.

The Militarymen have been paired with Toolstation League, top flight side, Barnstaple Town in a 1st round tie that must be played before October 31.

The Royal Marines faced the same opposition, at the same venue and in the same competition last year and so should travel with no fears.

Should the Endurance Park men succeed in North Devon they would then entertain another side they also met in the competition last year – Tiverton Town.

The full draw is: 1st Round(to be played by October 31); Barnstaple Town v Royal Marines AFC, Bovey Tracey v Plymouth Parkway, Elburton Villa v Elmore and Willand Rovers v Ilfracombe Town

2nd Round : (to be played by December 31); Barnstaple or Royal Marines AFC v Tiverton Town; Bovey Tracey or Parkway v Bideford; Buckland Athletic v Tavistock; Dartmouth v Plymouth Argyle; Dawlish Town v Elburton Villa or Elmore; Ivybridge Town v Exeter City;

Willand Rovers or Ilfracombe v Torquay United and Witheridge v Cullompton Rangers
