Other than the first team's 5-0 victory over Appledore FC on Saturday, it was an inactive weekend for the remainder of Budleigh Salterton Football Club teams, writes SpursTom.
The girls’ Under-13s have only one Devon Girls League Under-13s Division One match left.
It is a home meeting with Signal Box Frankfort on Sunday, March 25, with a noon kick-off.
Before that they have a Sportslighting Devon FA Under-13 Girls’ Cup semi-final date this coming Sunday (March 18) when they travel to Brixham for a game that kicks off at 11am.
Meanwhile, the Budleigh ladies are also in action this coming Sunday when they entertain University of Plymouth in a Westward Developments Devon Women League Division One game that kicks off at 2pm. Both the Robinettes and University are involved in a three-club battle to land the title.
There is also a possibility that the Robinettes might have to play a League Cup fixture against Premiership side University of Exeter. The original game was postponed on March 4.
The Robinettes already have one cup final berth booked and they now know that it will be Buckland Athletic Reserves from the Premier Division who they will meet in the final of the Graddon Vending Devon County FA Women’s Supplementary Cup on Friday, March 23, with the contest being played at the Devon FA Headquarters ground at Coach Road, Newton Abbot with kick-off at 7.15pm. Before that, the Budleigh Under-15 boys will be hoping to play their first game of this month when they travel the short distance to take on Brixington Blues on Saturday (10.30am).
There’s also Greenway Lane action this coming Saturday with the Budleigh Reserves entertaining Ottery St Mary in a Macron League Division Three game (3pm).
