Brixington Blues 7, Feniton 2

On a blustery morning Brixington Blues Under-12s continued their good run of form with a fine victory, writes Michael Trick.

Harrison Clutton quickly asserted his formidable presence on proceedings with good passing and movement.

After 20mins Jake Yarwood found Jake Pond who made no mistake with an angled drive.

Shortly after Pond, released by Lucas Feduzi, created space for Joe Evans to make it two.

A screamer from distance by Ollie Holmes gave Blues a three-goal half-time lead.

After the break with Jason Farrant, Theo Burne and Ben Bolwell forming a solid defensive unit Blues pushed on and it was son 4-0 with Josh Hocking finding Joe Evans who made no mistake.

Jake Pond then bagged a quick-fire brace to complete a hat-trick, his second and third goals owed much to the tireless George Salter who was accredited with a pair of assists.

Battling Feniton pulled two back as the game went on, but Blues had the final say when Josh Hockings wrapped things up with a neat finish to round off a very good team performance.
