A superb central midfield display from Gareth Davies provided the solid basis from which Exmouth-based Exiles comfortably banked three Sunday League points.

Playing into a strong wind Exiles began brightly and took the lead when Ian Boyd flicked the ball on prior to Kev Pitt heading home.

The hosts responded well, but got little change out of a well organised and disciplined Exiles defence.

After the break, with the wind now in their favour, Exiles took charge and doubled their advantage when Pitt netted with a clinical finish.

Ian Boyd made it three before he then set up Pitt to notch his second successive Exiles hat-trick.

With Davies orchestrating things fro the central midfield berth further goals followed from first Marty Robertson and then Boyd, the latter after some terrific approach play from Pitt.
