Otterton youngster plays for Devon Under-16s in Gwent success

Otterton-based Josh Mclean played a part in the Devon Under-16 team that beat Gwent 3-0 at the home of Newport County.

The youngster, who also plays in goal for Exeter-based Exwick Villa in the Exeter and District Youth League (Saturday’s) and as an outfield player for Willand Rovers Under-16 in the Taunton and District League (Sunday’s), kept a first half clean sheet before making way for Harrison Burton at half-time.

Mclean is again included in the county team’s fourth outing this season when they travel to Almondbsury, Bristol to meet Gloucestershire on Sunday, December 21 (2pm).
