OTTERTON crashed to a 4-1 defeat in the local derby at Warren View against Exmouth Amateurs.

Otterton had given a good account of themselves and their early performance in the game belied their lowly, if not quite yet desperate, status in the Premier Division. But once the Ammies restored a two goal advantage at 3-1, the die was cast and Otterton slipped to an 11th defeat in a dozen top flight outings and became the first side to ship a half century of Premier Division goals this term with a 4-1 defeat.

This Saturday they travel into Exeter to meet a Newtown side who have won five of their six home games to date.
