Bank United returned to winning ways in a high scoring affair at Exeter Snooker Club that saw them land an 8-4 victory.

Bank made a bright start and their early industry was rewarded when Adam Pring’s cross was tucked away by in-form striker Dan Jones.

Steve Noon then scored from the edge of the box and it was soon 3-0 as Jones notched his second and he went on to compete a first half hat-trick only for the hosts to bag a quick-fire brace of goals.

Steve Noon’s hard work was then rewarded as Jones set up Phil Sanders to make it 5-2 but the resilient hosts struck back with two more and Bank went into the break with a narrow 5-4 lead.

Nerves were settled shortly after the re-start when Noon rifled home a terrific shot and he was also next to score, completing his hat-trick with a thunderous effort to make it 7-4.

In the final minute a James Armstrong corner was knocked home by Adam Pring to complete the scoring. Steve Noon was named Bank Man of the Match.
