Lympstone were 2-1 winners at home to Clyst Valley.
The visitors took the lead in the first minute and would have doubled it a minute later but for a splendid Scott Clayton save in the Lympets goal!
The Stones levelled in the fourth minute when Pat Dawes headed a corner home.
On the half hour the young Reece Clark kept up his impressive form, beating a defender out wide before rifling the ball past the keeper at his near post.
After the break the Stones continued to press and only the woodwork denied them a third, though they had to defend in strength as the visitors mounted a late bid to salvage something from the game.
Match winner Clark was named the Lympstone Man of the Match.
