Lympstone Rangers Under-12s were emphatic 6-1 winners when they travelled into Exeter to face Central Raiders in their latest Exeter and District Youth League Division Three outing.

Liam Daniels scored a brace in a game that saw all the goals scored in the first half. The pick of the Lympstone six was a 25-yard ‘screamer’ from Jack Bungay.

Lewis Hillier was also on the score sheet before both Rangers wingers, Thomas Hewett and Liam McManus, cracked powerful shots beyond the home gloves man.

The star shift for the winners came from Jack McKie in central midfield.

The win means Rangers sit top of the table at Christmas.

They return to action on Saturday, January 3 with a visit to third bottom Honiton with whom they drew 2-2 when the sides met in East Devon on the opening day of the season.
