Lympstone make fine start to the new season

Lympstone made a superb start to the new Devon and Exeter League season with wins for both the first and second teams.
The first team were involved in a Division Three home derby against Otterton.
Sam Schlaefli scored a hat-trick and the other goal was scored by Kyle Bassett.
Otterton got a late consolation with Simon Tulley scoring from the penalty spot.
Lympstone Reserves were in Division Eight action away at Devon Yeoman in Exeter where they secured a splendid 3-1 win with goals from Hayden Figures, Chris Porter and Connor Crowley.
On Saturday (September 1) the first team have another East Devon derby with a game at East Budleigh.
The Lympets second team, who are in action at home to Exmouth Town thirds tonight (Tuesday) are also at home on Saturday when they entertain Exeter-based Central.
