Lympstone Lions roar into last eight of Under-11 League Cup

Lympstone Lions were good value for a 4-0 win at West Exe Youth that sees them into the last eight of the Under-11 KO Cup.

Jack Draper scored the only goal of a closely contested first half. After the break Lions took charge and doubled their lead when Thomas King scored the first of his brace. After King had struck again Draper finished what he started to ease the visitors’ into the last eight .

The clean sheet goalkeeping duties were shared by Ashley Drake before the break and Billy Worthington in the second half. Joe Farmer had a fine game at the heart of the Lions defence to land the Man of the Match award.
