THE Devon County FA hold their annual meeting this coming Saturday (June 18).

One key item on the agenda is the introduction of ID cards.

The County approached the subject several years ago but it was not popular and so never saw the light of day but the County Football Association has now proposed a rule amendment for the AGM.

If passed it means that all, teams below Step Seven will be required to make all their players hold ID cards.

The ID card concept was rolled out across Youth League sin the County and the local, Exeter Youth League has been using the system for two seasons’ now.

The proposal should ensure a healthy turn out at the AGM which takes place at Effordleigh Golf and Country Club, Plymouth, with a 2pm start.
