Laverock at the double as Blues are hit late

Brixington Blues Under-14s came within two minutes of taking all three points at home to Okehampton.
The visitors arrived in Exmouth sporting an unbeaten record this term and sitting second in the table.
The Blues made a slick start and took an early lead through Kian Newton. Fellow striker Guy Laverock doubled the lead before Okehampton began to find their feet and hit back, scoring twice to leave honours even at the break.
The second half was end-to-end action and the Blues edged ahead again when Laverock scored his second With Sam Hill in great form between the posts, Blues looked on course to bag a superb success.
However, an Okehampton player found himself free in the box with less than two minutes remaining to leave the game ending 3-3.
Blues boss Paul Jennions said: “The lads can be proud of their performance against one of the divisions top sides. I think special mention is warranted for the strong performances at the back from Damian Symonowicz and Lewis Smith. The whole team put a shift in and they have set a high standard now to follow for the rest of the campaign.”
