EAST Budleigh were heading for defeat at Broadclyst on Saturday when, in the 94th minute, Richard Thompson scored a priceless equaliser.

The two sides meet again at Vicarage Road this weekend (2.15) and that is the final home game of 2009 for the Jays, who still have just the one win to their name in the League this term.

This coming weekend's game is only number nine for Budleigh, leaving them some 17 to negotiate over the remainder of the season.

After Saturday's home outing, the Jays will begin 2010 with back to back away games, visiting Elmore and University on the first two Saturdays of the New Year.
