YOUTH FOOTBALL: ID CARDS have now been fully introduced into the Juventus League which offers football to youngsters from the age of under-14 through to under-16.

The official launch took place at St James Park, home of Exeter City Football Club, on Monday evening this week.

The Exeter & District Youth League, which has a number of local clubs playing in it, expects to have their ID cards rolled out across their age groups early next year.

League Chairman John Penkethman said: "As I understand it, the County FA and the ID card people are getting league by league into the system and I would envisage our league using the system fully by February of next year."
