Howards way is the best way for the Brixington United Under-15s comeback

Brixington United 3, Witheridge 2
Brixington United Under-15s had mixed fortunes in two Division Two outings last week, writes David White.
In their first game they dominated for long periods against Pinhoe Spartans, but slipped to a single goal defeat.
They moved on to the meeting with a much improved Witheridge side who bossed the early exchanges and took the lead with a sweet dipping shot that found its way past Taylor in the United goals.
United then rode their luck through to the break to go in just a single goal in arrears.
Not for the first time this season it was the half-time words of wisdom from coach Ian Horne that spurred United into action!
A bright start to the second period left home fans expecting an equaliser, so it was something of a surprise when the visitors doubled their lead!
The game stayed that way until, with 10 minutes a header from Cameron Brown looped its way into the net to give United hope. Bradley Snook began to run at defenders and the Mid Devon side began to wobble!
Max Howard made it 2-2 with a fine finish and the comeback was completed when Howard headed the winner.
With one to play United still have a great chance of a top three finish, but their fate may well lie in the hands of results elsewhere in the section.
