WOODBURY can count themselves a little unfortunate to have taken just the one point from their game with Offwell Rangers on Saturday afternoon.Mind you, after so many cancellations of home games in recent months, simply getting out onto the village football pitch was something of a novelty. The visitors struck first but with twenty minutes remaining the home side deservedly levelled and the nature of the goal was very pleasing on the eye.David Allen did well out wide on the right and when his cross was delivered with pace into the area Michael Cope made a valiant attempt to connect with the ball but it simply fell to the feet of Mike Raysom and the master marksman needed no second invitation to lash it into the net.In a closely contested game both sides had chances to claim all three points but it was probably a just reward that each team took something for their efforts.Next up for the villagers is a trip to Somerset to meet a Chard Town 3rds team who beat them 9-0 when the two sides met at Woodbury earlier in the season.
