EXMOUTH Town went out of the Axminster Hospital Cup at the semi-final stage when beaten 2-1 by local rivals Budleigh Salterton under the Robins' Greenway Lane floodlights.

It leaves Town with just two home games to complete their Peninsula League Eastern Division season and both remaining matches are amongst the most attractive of the campaign.

Next Wednesday, April 29, Town entertain a Bovey Tracey side who will arrive at Southern Road probably needing to win to pip Exeter Civil Service to the title and then the following Saturday, May 2 Town bring the curtain down on a season of real progress at Southern Road with a visit from Appledore.

Boss Chris Dowling says: "The Bovey Tracey game has the potential to be a real thriller given that they may well need to win the game in terms of winning the title and contests with Appledore are always excellent games and so it would be nice if we could entice people to come along and support the team as we put another season to bed.
