Lympstone put visiting Axminster Town to the sword, defeating the Tigers 12-2.

After recent weeks of near miss after near miss everything the Lympets hit seemed to find the back of the net!

Andy Lowe bagged the individual goal scoring honours with four and Chris Hooker notched a hat-trick.

Dave Whipp bagged a brace and there were single goals from Mark Dunne, Jamie Ballard and Ben Canning.

Special mention must be made of the collective effort put in by Axminster Town who not for a single minute, lost their clear passion and commitment and their keeper produced a couple of simply outstanding saves to deny further Lympstone goals.

Right back John Greenslade pushed forward at every opportunity and played a big part in a number of the goals.

However, it was four goal star Lowe who was named Man of the Match.
