WOODBURY suffered yet another postponement on Saturday with their game against University hit by the frost.
It means that Adam Reid’s side are beginning to face something of a fixture pile up.
One reason for the fact that the Woods have played just nine of their 28 Division Five league match schedule is down to their success in the County Cup.
The League is running right through until the end of May this season so there remains plenty of time to get the games in but any further inclement weather could leave fixture congestion threatening their hopes of success.
This weekend the Woods have a league game at home to Feniton Reserves when they will seek to extend their home run that sees them unbeaten since the very first game of the season back in early September when they lost to Sampford Peverell.
Since then the villagers have won five and drawn one at home scoring an impressive 39 goals in the process.
After the game attention at the club will no doubt switch to the events at Southern Road, Exmouth where they will learn who they meet the following Saturday (February 5) in the East Area final of the Devon Intermediate Cup.
