Exmouth United Under-9s continued their season with victories over Ottery St Mary and Feniton.

First up they took on a well-organised Ottery side that were hard to break down.

The deadlock was broken when skipper Harry Williams opened the Otters up to play Joey Bowden in and he passed the ball into the net.

The Ottery response was positive, but they go little change out of the impressive defensive duo Ben Sriburi and Jared Guy.

The second United goal came about Harry Williams scored after a great cross from Jared Guy.

Two became three with striker Kyle Pearcey pounced on the loose ball after the Otters keeper had parried a Jo Tapp effort.

Ottery then struck what proved to be a consolation, United keeper Jimmy Griffin making a great attempt to keep the ball out. Thereafter, United saw the game out for a 3-1 victory.

Next up they took on a lively Feniton side who were unable to get the better of United defenders Ben Sriburi and Ryan Horne.

United began to take charge and looked to use the full width of the pitch at every opportunity which brought them plenty of success as they scored eight unanswered goals.

Joey Bowden notched a hat-trick and there were goals too for both Harry Williams and Jared Guy.
